Effective 4 October 2026
Still Here is an app that watches for signs that its owner may need help: if your phone stays locked or unreachable for longer than a limit you choose, it emails a person you have chosen. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it.
The app does not collect contacts, photos, messages, browsing, or anything from other apps, and it does not track you across apps or websites. There are no advertisements and no analytics.
All data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure in a record belonging to your phone, and is transmitted only over encrypted connections. Alert emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which receives the email address and the content of the alert in order to deliver it. No data is sold or shared with anyone else.
Your record is kept while you use the app. Activity entries are kept for the most recent 400 events; settings history for the most recent 200 changes. If your phone has not reported for 30 days, its record is deleted automatically. Signing out of the app deletes the app's data on your phone; to have the server-side record deleted immediately, contact us at the address below.
Still Here uses notifications to check on your phone in the background and to warn you before an alert is sent. Most of these are silent. The app cannot do its job with notifications turned off.
Still Here is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
